Monitoring (English)
Laatst gewijzigd op: 29-01-2026Early detection of digital threats is essential to limit damage. With the CCV Monitoring certification mark, you choose a service provider that demonstrably delivers high-quality continuous monitoring of digital environments and timely detection of security incidents.
Monitoring involves the continuous or periodic supervision of IT and OT systems, networks and digital environments for anomalies, vulnerabilities and potential cyber threats. This includes analysing log data, detecting suspicious activities and identifying potential security incidents.
An effective monitoring service is reliable, carefully designed and aligned with the organisation’s risk profile and operational context. Its purpose is to identify threats at an early stage, escalate where necessary and prevent incidents from going unnoticed or developing into serious damage.
Why a certification mark for Monitoring?
When organisations make use of monitoring services, it is often difficult to assess whether these services actually deliver what they promise. The quality of monitoring depends not only on technology, but also on processes, expertise, follow-up and communication. Organisations may find it challenging to determine whether a monitoring service provider meets these quality requirements.
The CCV certification mark for Monitoring makes the quality of this service provision transparent and comparable. It sets out clear requirements against which providers are independently assessed. This enables organisations to confidently select a certified service provider.
With the certification mark for Monitoring:
- You can be assured that digital environments are systematically monitored for relevant threats and anomalies.
- You can rely on clear procedures for the detection, analysis and follow-up of alerts.
- It is formally defined how and when notifications are escalated to the client or other relevant parties.
- You can rely on monitoring being carried out by qualified professionals using validated monitoring tools, within an assured quality and security framework.
