Awareness Training (English)
Laatst gewijzigd op: 10-04-2026Choose a cybersecurity awareness training bearing the CCV certification mark.
More and more businesses and organisations recognise the importance of cybersecurity. Whether you run an online store, operate in the manufacturing industry, or manage a port company, digital processes are the beating heart of your organisation. An incident affecting IT or OT systems can seriously disrupt your business operations
As organisations increasingly prioritise cybersecurity awareness training, ensuring the quality and reliability of such programmes is essential. The CCV certification mark provides this assurance. Awareness training certified with the CCV certification mark meet quality standards and undergo independent assessment. This ensures the strengthening of the digital resilience of both your employees and your organisation.
With a CCV-certified awareness training:
- You are assured your awareness training meets the highest quality standards.
- You show your organisation is actively committed to digital resilience.
- You mitigate risks and contribute to a secure digital supply chain.
For awareness training providers
Certified providers will be listed in the CCV directory of qualified organisations on our website.
How does the CCV certification for cybersecurity awareness training work?
The certification mark sets out clear requirements for how awareness training is developed and delivered, including:
- Providing tailored training that reflects the client’s specific context and needs.
- Proactively informing clients about available options and the chosen methodology.
- Clearly reporting on the training delivered and the outcomes achieved.
The provider’s quality management system is also assessed, to ensure that high standards are consistently maintained. This includes:
- Monitoring the expertise and professional development of staff.
- Controlling internal processes to guarantee consistent quality.
- Safeguarding customer orientation and transparency.
Certification Levels
Training providers can be certified at two levels:
- Level 1: For delivering individual, standalone training sessions.
- Level 2: For offering integrated and comprehensive training programmes.
Independent Certification and Quality Control
The certification process is conducted by independent certification bodies, which assess providers against the set criteria. When a provider meets all requirements, they receive a certificate and are authorised to use the CCV certification mark. Certified providers are subject to ongoing oversight, with regular assessments safeguarding quality.
The certification bodies are licensed by CCV and work closely with the organisation, which acts as the independent scheme owner. Through regular dialogue, they ensure consistent application of the certification mark and promote continuous quality improvement across the sector.
Why digital resilience is now a top priority
Cybercrime is increasing rapidly, and the impact of an incident can be far-reaching: operational downtime, financial damage, and reputational loss. More and more businesses are expected to demonstrate digital resilience, either as part of supply chain requirements or under legal frameworks such as the NIS2 Directive.
Demonstrating digital resilience means more than implementing technical measures; it also requires showing that your employees are trained and alert to cybersecurity threats. Awareness training can therefore form a vital part of compliance with directives such as NIS2.
